Xilo Beach is located on the central Asturian coast, very close to Aguilar Beach, separated by Punta El Castiello. Access is via the N-632 road and then on foot via stairs or the Miradores Coastal Path.

It's a small coastal town of just over 1,800 inhabitants. The stately town of Muros (of Roman and medieval origin), the walls of the old Valdecarzana Palace and the Palace of the Marquis of Muros, and its old mansions and beautiful buildings are well worth a visit.
