You would have to create a "negative" highlight. I don't know if Komoot has ever looked at the "road"... :) Very limited use for racing bikes. From Motril it's just about doable, towards Motril it's a clear NO GO for racing bikes. Potholes up to 15cm deep, square meters in size, packed tightly together. You can't take your eyes off the surface for a second. In some places there is no solid road surface but fine gravel, sand, anything that isn't perfect.

There are several medlar plantations along the route, we were wondering what they were. A mild apple liqueur or apple brandy is often used to make medlars. This schnapps forms the basis for the medlar, which gets a special flavor from the addition of the pickled medlar, or with Calvados :)

Playa del Poniente in Motril, a charming and very pleasant place to stroll and have a drink at one of the many beach bars.

Salobreña is a bustling, crowded city that I would personally avoid if I wanted to ride a racing bike. I always don't understand why highlights like a castle are set as racing bike highlights. Should someone walk in with cleats and look at the castle?

Suburb of Motril with great views. The place itself is not a highlight, but the route down/up to/from Motril is brilliant. I prefer the exit here (southbound) because of the great view.

Super nice beach and after a strenuous bike tour you deserve a beer and a dip in the cool water.
