Salobreña, on Granada's Costa Tropical, is a destination that combines history, sea, and Andalusian charm. The sculpture of two figures in the Parque de los Pueblos de América (Park of the Peoples of America) in Motril is called "El Encuentro" (The Encounter) and is the work of sculptor Miguel Moreno. This sculptural group is made of welded sheet metal and represents the fraternal encounter between two cultures: European and American. Two nude figures: they symbolize sincerity, honesty, and tolerance. Dynamic composition: the figure representing Western culture moves toward the embrace, while the other, more static, receives it with open arms. Location: in the heart of the park, surrounded by subtropical vegetation and features such as a lake with a geyser, a succulent museum, and recreational areas.
