The Senda Serra La Murta is a lovely hiking route located in the Murta Valley, near Alzira, Valencia. This valley, together with the adjacent Casella Valley, is listed as a Municipal Natural Site.

The walk to Carvalho Bernat was beautiful, but once over the top the follow-up route was no longer visible and we had to take the same (very steep) route back to the start/end point.

The best views towards La Ribera Baja and the Levante coast of Cullera and El Brosquil. The climb is quite a challenge but the views are more than rewarding. The path is well signposted and in good condition, it becomes more entertaining and challenging as you gain height.

Summit with incredible views of the Serra de Corbera and the Valley of La Murta. The path of ascent has some technical difficulty in sectors such as rocks or steps and can be combined with the ascent to La Creu del Cardenal.

Quite narrow path with a lot of vegetation marked with a blue dot. It runs along the Serra de La Murta hill from the top of Pas del Pobre until it turns around and reaches Creu del Cardenal passing through Pic de les Gralles. It is quite an adventure for the most daring but without a doubt the views from all points are amazing. (Moderate technical difficulty)

A site with amazing views towards La Ribera Baja and the Levantine coast of Cullera and El Brosquil. The effort to get up there is very well rewarded by the views and the tranquility of the place. I recommend arriving from La Murta taking the PR-CV 334 road and then connecting with the path for the last meters of the climb. The same path for the descent. For the more adventurous, you can take the path from El Pas del Pobre passing through Pic de les Gralles and there to the left.
