The Cascada de la Herrería is a natural gem located in the Sierra de Albarracín, near the town of El Vallecillo. This beautiful waterfall, also known as the “Hidden Waterfall,” has a drop of approximately 8 meters over the Cabriel River. To reach the waterfall, you can follow a hiking route that begins in El Vallecillo. The route is short, just half a kilometer, and takes you through a varied and picturesque landscape. During the walk, you will also be able to see the natural springs known as the Ojos del Cabriel, which feed the river and the waterfall.

Built in the 13th century, this watchtower tower stands on a rocky promontory, reaching a height of 18 metres. Its thick masonry walls and its door raised more than eight metres from the ground outside made it practically inaccessible, thus guaranteeing its defensive function. In the 17th century, the tower lost its defensive function and was given to the nearby Dominican convent, which used it as a library. However, with the disappearance of the convent, the tower remained in ruins until it was restored in 2001 by the Santa María de Albarracín Foundation. Today, the tower has been converted into a space for art exhibitions and offers stunning views of Albarracín and its surroundings.

Old mill right next to the river. Among the ruins, we can see the canal that fed the mill and the well where the water gained strength. Attached to the mill we find the miller's house, with whitewashed walls and a balcony. In addition to these buildings, we can see the old tejería, a factory that supplied tiles to make the town's buildings.

Impressive monolith that guards the entrance to the Blanco River canyon in Calomarde. It was ascended for the first time by Luís Torrijo, Alfonso Torrijo, Miguel Ángel Tomás and Manolo Soriano in 1994. It is included in the book "100 inaccessible points of Teruel" by Luís Torrijo and Javier Magallón.

Beautiful waterfall that can be reached as the end point of the route that begins in El Vallecillo and passes through the eyes of Cabriel. However, due to its proximity to the road, it is common to see many people who come exclusively to visit it.

During the descent of the final section, you have to be careful because the ground is always wet and slippery.

At this point we can deviate a few meters to see the Molino de las Pisadas, currently in ruins. It is an old water mill that starts the Fuente del Berro River. In addition, this place has a curious legend. Do you dare to meet her?
