A defensive construction located on the left bank of the River Ebro that dates back to the period of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It was here where the soldiers stood to protect themselves and shoot towards Sant Jaume d'Enveja on the other side of the river where the enemy had gathered. The River Ebro acted as a border between the Nationalist and Republican sides.

The vast rice fields are the main feature of this area. Depending on the time of year you visit, the landscape can vary dramatically, from a vast lagoon to a lush green blanket.

Wooden walkway to cross on foot or by bicycle. It leads directly to the Bassa de les Olles del Delta de l'Ebre information point.
