바닷가에서 즐기는 편안한 산책

Altafulla Castle was first documented in 1059. The current building, dating primarily from the 17th century, adjoins the walls of Vila Closa and has an irregular floor plan. The crenellated parapet gives it the appearance of a fortress. The predominant Renaissance style is clearly evident in the doors and windows. During the First Carlist War, it served as barracks for the Altafulla militia, and during the Civil War (1936–1939), it housed troops and militiamen. It is privately owned and not open to the public.

Cambrils boasts a promenade perfect for walking or cycling, along with several restaurants and shops. It also has a marina with several yachts, offering excursions. The most beautiful spot on the promenade is undoubtedly La Torre del Puerto, a 17th-century defensive tower. Second in importance is, of course, the iconic nameplate.

This charming promenade runs along the coastline and offers fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Palm trees sway gently in the breeze, terraces invite you for a cool drink, and street musicians create a relaxed atmosphere.

Cambrils retains its fishing character with a charming harbor, charming streets steeped in history, and magical sunsets. A perfect destination for families, with golden sandy beaches and a rich gastronomic tradition.

.....definitely visit, either via the AP7 or the actual car park....we went by bike, it's a bit tricky, but doable....pack hiking boots and walk the approx. 8km 👍🥾😉
