Coll de Sa Creu - 5.80 km, 5.3 elev, 10 min from Center of Palma, beautiful sunrise. 🌅 My go to early morning climbing closest to home.

This is a magnificent climb with usually little traffic, spectacular views, and even some shade on the first section, if you're doing it in the summer. It's just over five kilometers long, with a total of 265 meters of elevation gain and an average gradient of 5.2%. Enjoy!

The island with its great mythology also has a story about this watchtower. The Torre des Verger (Catalan) is also called the Torre de ses Ànimes, Tower of Souls, by locals. Good shortcut to avoid at least part of the main road towards Coll de Sóller. Bunyola exit currently under construction site, no asphalt there, but you can get through. At a later point the asphalt has dissolved and there is only gravel for 10-20 meters, so drive carefully!
