El Refugio del Collado Zamora(종종 Gilillo로 가는 길과 연관됨)는 Cazorla 산맥에 위치한 복원된 산림 대피소로, GR-247 트레일의 핵심입니다. Gilillo로 오르거나 Cuerda del Gilillo와 같은 지역으로 연결하기 위한 시작점 또는 경유점으로 자주 사용됩니다.

This rest area is located just 200 metres from the source of the Guadalquivir River, and in addition to a small spring where you can drink water, there are also benches and shade where you can rest.

If we continue a few meters above the supposed source of the Guadalquivir River, we find a somewhat flatter area that contains a rest area with wooden benches, a small pond of water to which a very limited spring reaches. In addition, the area has several containers to deposit the waste we generate after camping with friends or family.

It is really difficult to locate the source of the most important river in Andalusia and although the technicians have located it at this point, it is still surprising that it hardly has any water, as well as that it is exactly this precise place, because in the same way It could have been located in any other of the many tributaries with greater flow that pour their waters into the river bed, such as the Aguasmulas River or the Borosa River. For whatever reason, this source is dry for much of the year, but nevertheless it has better access than other places, perhaps this is the explanation.

This is an example of what the inhabitants of these lands used to do during ancient times, and it consisted of making a slit in the trunk of the tree with the ax to later light it and warm themselves on the coldest days of winter. This effect was produced thanks to the resin that the tree itself created so that only part of the trunk was heated without causing a fire around it. This is one of the many refuges located on the GR-247 that runs through the entire mountains of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas. It is in very good condition thanks to the care that all of us who pass through it take and clean it and leave it in good condition for use for the following temporary residents.
