The Genil River passes through Granada towards an important, very fertile plain where numerous different crops are produced. On its way it passes through Pinos Genil, dividing the town into two halves, joined only by three bridges. It's worth knowing!

The Real or Gorda del Genil irrigation canal is located on the outskirts of Cenes de la Vega. It is a beautiful corner, especially in autumn, when the leaves of the trees turn golden and frame this beautiful waterfall.
