Tapia de Casariego is a handful of houses stranded on the cliffs. Its port is witness to whaling deeds and today the fleet is moored in peace thanks to the breakwaters that prevent the harassment of storms. This port is as old as the arrival of corn from America to Europe, through the port of Tapia de Casariego this cereal colonized the lands around it and the entire world. From the port and the breakwaters you can see the tight structure of the small fishing houses, many of them now converted into tourist accommodation and restaurants.
