The last ten kilometers of the route are fantastic, they do not have any geographical or technical difficulties and they run through a delicious plain of pastured hills. An important value in the quality of the landscape is the passage through several wetlands and small lagoons where notable bird communities are concentrated. The Charcas de los Prados, the Picazo reservoir, the Casa lagoon and the Balsas de los Calles are close to the dirt track and depending on the season it is easy to see cranes, teals, shovelers, tufted pochards, gray herons, grebes greaves, little grebes, cormorants and friendly hoopoes sharing ditches and sections of the road with cyclists.
