The Patio de Lindaraja is one of the most charming corners of the Alhambra in Granada. Located in the Palace of the Lions, this courtyard owes its name to the belvedere that overlooks its southern face. Originally, the courtyard was open to the landscape, but was enclosed in the 16th century with the construction of the Emperor's Apartments. The courtyard has a cloistered atmosphere, accentuated by its garden design and the Baroque fountain at its center. The fountain, made of Sierra Elvira stone, was placed in 1626, and its upper basin is a copy of the Moorish original housed in the Alhambra Museum.

The most famous attraction in Granada is the Alhambra. The most important buildings from the Moorish period belong to the Alhambra fortress. It is a collection of palaces and the largest secular complex of its kind in Spain. It was built on older grounds in the 13th and 14th centuries as the residence of the Moorish kings of the Nasrid dynasty. The Alhambra is famous for its stucco ceilings and the humming of a lion. King Charles V had a palace built in this area, which destroyed large areas of the original palace.

This trail runs through the upper part of the Monachil River canyon, also known as the Los Cahorros Gorge. The view of the white roads winding through these arid mountains is spectacular. Also, if the day is clear, you can see the city of Granada and even the Alhambra.
