Pico or Risco del Amor is the highest point in the Sierra del Castañar mountain range, at 1380 meters. The climb will make you sweat, but once you reach the top, it will have been worth it, as you'll be rewarded with the best views of the Sierra and the Dehesa del Castañar.

A classic climb for local cyclists, with stunning views, although you'll have to work up a sweat to enjoy them.

Above the town of Malagón we find this mountain range that bears the same name, the Sierra de Malagón. From the top you can see incredible views not only of the center but also of Las Navas de Malagón.

The panoramic views will pay you back for the effort. You will be able to see Arisgotas, Sonseca, Orgaz, the Layos and Nambroca mountain ranges, the famous Los Yébenes mills, etc. It is worth going up.

The Plaza de los Moros is one of the two important peaks of the Sierra de Malagón trail. The other peak is Cerro Amarillo and it is a short distance down the same trail from here. It's all uphill up here, but the views are the reward.

From the road you can already see the antennas at the top of the Calderina and even if they seem too far away, I guarantee that it is worth climbing to the top. Once up you will have beautiful views of this region of the Montes de Toledo and a little further to the neighboring province of Ciudad Real.
