The building that now houses the "Torreón Museum" is the only vestige of the fortified walls that defended the city of Haro from the 12th century. It was abandoned in the 15th century and fell into private ownership for several centuries. This space, restored and reinvented as part of the Museum of La Rioja, houses the collection of contemporary art by artists from our community recognized by several institutions.
