The Church of Our Lady of Granada in Llerena is one of the most emblematic monuments of the city. Its construction began in the 14th century and continued until the 18th century, resulting in a mix of architectural styles including Gothic-Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque. The façade combines Baroque and Mudejar elements. The lower level is Baroque, with an entrance door decorated with heraldic shields. The upper level, in the Mudejar style, features galleries of semicircular arches. The church tower is an impressive structure that dominates the square. The first two bodies are from the original Mudejar tower from the 14th century, while the three upper bodies, in the Renaissance style, were added in the 16th century.

The Isla Margarita recreational area is located next to the Hueznar riverbank, accessed via a small wooden bridge. This enclave is of great interest, as in addition to having an exceptional landscape, it is located next to the Vía Verde de la Sierra Morena de Sevilla, one of the most popular and busy trails in the natural park. It is perfect for hiking or cycling. The recreational area has a picnic area and a kiosk that offers snacks, drinks and sandwiches (it also has toilets). In addition, there is a hanging forest for the entertainment of the little ones. At the entrance, you will also find an establishment where you can rent bicycles to take the Vía Verde route. The origins of the Regina Turdulorum are unknown but it is believed that its foundation dates from the time of Augustus, linked to the mining exploitation of the area. Its location on the road that linked Augusta Emerita (Mérida) with Hispalis (Seville) surely had very beneficial effects on its development.

Las Cascadas del Huéznar is an area of the river of the same name where there are a series of waterfalls and pools that arise when the water falls on peculiar limestone formations known as travertines. Along these waterfalls, also called Las Chorreras, the river runs along its course with abundant crystal clear water. This set of waterfalls was declared a Natural Monument in 2001.

If you feel like cooling off for a while, in the town of San Nicolás del Puerto you will find a beach on the banks of the Galindón river. Right next to it there is a Roman bridge where only pedestrians and bicycles are allowed.
