The buses to the starting point and back to La Laguna run very irregularly. You should plan your return trip in advance and download the route, because there's no reception on the way up to the top of the mountain. There's zero reception along the entire route, even in the small café.

Small mountain village in the heart of the Anaga Mountains. Here you can actually find houses carved into the rock, but also fabulous views and panoramic views as well as a rustic Canarian restaurant. A must visit. We hiked there from Las.Carboneras and were thrilled by the tour and the views.

You should get there in good time, as the parking spaces are quickly taken. But this hike is definitely worth it. It is simply beautiful there.

It is an advantage to arrive early. We only managed to get a parking space on the second attempt.

The rather low trees here actually grow over the path in such a way that in places it looks like a tunnel - a fairytale forest.
