Playa de la Arena is a popular, small beach with fine black volcanic sand in Santiago del Teide on Tenerife's west coast, known for clean water, good infrastructure with restaurants and sunbed rentals, lifeguards and free Wi-Fi, but often strong waves which can make swimming difficult.

Well-maintained e-gravel and road bikes. Unfortunately, they don't rent out regular mountain bikes, but the selection of MTB trails here in the west of the island is rather limited anyway, not to mention practically non-existent.

The "Acantilados de Los Gigantes" (Cliffs of the Giants) are an impressive stretch of coastline, reaching heights of up to 600 meters in some places and plunging almost vertically into the sea. The cliffs are considered one of Tenerife's most spectacular natural monuments and are a popular tourist destination.

Beautiful beach, also monitored by lifeguards.

It's worth driving up here. It's the highest point between the coast and the coast.
