Fun trail, not very technical but with some short and demanding slopes.

Heads up, today the supposed owners of Can Sais tried to block my way. After a long discussion and meeting another cyclist coming from the opposite direction, we were able to get through.

Today the alleged owners of Can Sais have forbidden me from passing along the path that leads between Can Xuncla to Salt del Timbarro or Moli d'en Tomàs.

Marked path that follows the Xunclà stream through its valley, today it really looked like a river, I couldn't cross it on the bike and had to go find some stones to keep my feet from getting wet. It passes near the Timbarro waterfall, which is an attractive place in itself.

Hell, once you get to Sant Aniol, the truck only takes you to the bottling plant.

It's where a lot of rides start from Girona but please remember locals live here too and use this bridge to get around. Don't block it with you bikes, be kind and respectful and you'll see that warmth reflected.

History of Sant Miquel Castle Currently, Sant Miquel Castle belongs to the municipality of Girona, but until 1974 it belonged to the municipality of Celrà. The architectural complex is located on the top of Puig del Castellar, at 394 meters above sea level. From its strategic location you can see the Valley of Sant Daniel, the town of Celrà, the plain of Empordà and the city of Girona. The complex, made up of a section of wall, a watchtower and a hermitage, dates back to medieval times.
