The surface at this point is in very poor condition, not suitable for bicycles with road tires. Luckily it is only 20 meters, but it is still surprising that the EV3 and Komoot recommend you drive there. The rest of the section to Zizur is a section with many people walking, caution!

On the outskirts of the center of Pamplona is the mount of San Cristóbal, which was chosen to build the Fort of the same name at the end of the 19th century. Not only the views will captivate you, but also the history of the fort, related to the Spanish Civil War and an event that has marked the history known as "La Fuga de San Cristóbal", when in 1938 there was a massive escape of prisoners that influenced country history.
