El Barranco del Poqueira is one of the most visited natural spaces in the province of Granada. This impressive site on the southern slope of the Sierra Nevada slopes steeply from the summit of Veleta. It includes villages of great beauty on its mountain slopes: Bubión is one of them. The village was put forward by the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian government). This is how it has become over the years, a choice of prime importance for tourism in the region.
