Incredible climb that connects the Pallars Sobirà with the Aran Valley. From the Pallars, the hardest section is on the straights until before the hermitage of Our Lady of the Ares. Once here, the pans gently take us up to the neck. Highly recommended.

The Llano de Beret is an esplanade about four kilometers long that is located next to the ski lift of the Baqueira ski resort. If you come from Bagergue, you must first pass through the port of Beret, at 1,879 meters above sea level.

To get to the port, climb a narrow and very steep path, sometimes passing the odd snowfield, depending on the season. It is quite intense but not too long; when you get to the top (which you can see from Lake Obago), there is a small waterfall that you have to dodge on the left side. Once you pass this part, the simplest thing remains for you: cross a kind of meadow with a slight slope that leads to the port. There you have the view of the Circ de Saboredo.

The Port of Ratera d'Espot (2530m) is an important crossroads. Large portal to the Aran Valley, located between the Pic de Ratera to the west, the Tuc de Saboredo to the east. and the Tuc deth Port to the N. Ponds extend through the undulations of this plane. Crossing point for the Carros de Foc crossing, on the GR 11 between Colomers and Sant Maurici, on the GR 211.4 via Saboredo and also to ascend to the Tuc de Ratera by its normal route.
