Footbridges around the Matarraña River. In my opinion, these are some of the best parts of the route. Lookouts and beautiful views of the river, its wildlife, and vegetation. You may feel dizzy at first, but it quickly passes: the construction is sturdy, there's plenty of space, and there are handholds on the sides.

Perfect little refugi - it includes a few mattresses, some firewood, an oven/stove and there were even candles when I came. Please contribute your part for the next person and leave it in a better condition than you found it.

There's an open area in one of the refuges that offers good shelter for the night in windy and rainy weather. We were able to sit out the rain here for three hours this morning. :)

'El Parrizal' follows the (super clear) Matarraña river through a gorge. It is a walk of approximately 10 kilometers, depending on where you start and how far you can go. We chose the parking lot closest to the gorge and simply could not continue walking after a certain point due to the high water. There are bridges, wooden walkways and sometimes you have to cross the river balancing on small stones. We got our feet wet a few times, but that's okay when it's almost 40 degrees! If it had been allowed, I would have immediately jumped into the water for a refreshing dip, but swimming is prohibited here. Below are the photos. Already convinced how incredibly beautiful it is here?!

Viewpoint and passing point, actually every step in this gorge is a lookout point, so beautiful!!!
