Walk without too much difficulty

Puig de la Clapa is a mountain reaching an altitude of 1,650 metres, located near Coll d'Ares, in the Eastern Pyrenees, on the border between France and Spain. Coll d'Ares, at an altitude of 1,513 metres, is an important mountain pass connecting Vallespir (France) to Ripollès (Spain). The area is popular for hiking and offers panoramic views of both the French and Spanish sides, being an area rich in natural landscapes and routes that allow you to explore the Pyrenees.

ONLY FOR EXTREME EMERGENCIES. The shelter is completely broken and dirty. It smells slightly of urine and mice. There is rubbish lying around inside. There is no shade here at midday and there is no water. But there is a magnificent view.

Advise to descend from the costabone this way rather than going up (steeper)

Village in the municipality of Molló (Ripollès). The village of Espinavell (47 h in 2005) is located upstream of the Ritort, at 1,225 m above sea level, to the left of the river, in the northern sector of the district. The houses are staggered on a rough slope, between the Ritort and the torrent of Coll Pregon. It is accessed by a road from the C-38 that goes from Molló to Coll d'Ares. The church of Mare de Déu de les Neus, suffragan of that of Molló, presides over the group of houses, which do not form a street. It is a building from the end of the 17th century, with a remarkable bell tower finished in unusual openings.
