It is a small 12th-century Romanesque church that, according to tradition, offered refuge to pilgrims and travelers crossing the area. Its simplicity and location next to ancient roads make it an interesting stop for those exploring historical routes in the region.

Cervera Castle, documented since 1026 and linked for centuries to the Cervera family, preserves the remains of a large trapezoidal enclosure with circular towers at the corners and sections of the wall still visible. Restored as a consolidated ruin, it allows one to imagine the defensive importance it held in the Middle Ages and is located very close to the town's church, making it easy to include in a visit to the historic center.

A must-see cultural visit to the region, along with other Romanesque towns and monuments. In my opinion, the best thing about this monastery is its layout and the views from the outside.

I grew up there, long before the observatory and the archaeological works at the Castle. When we were little, it seemed to us that the idea that there was a castle behind the church was a chimera. When it was brought to light, it seemed like magic.
