Also known as Estany Pudent, it is a protected natural area within the Ses Salines Natural Park. It is notable for its great ecological value, as it is home to birds such as flamingos and herons.

From this point, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views: the turquoise sea, the outline of the island surrounded by white beaches, the salt ponds, and, on clear days, the silhouette of Ibiza on the horizon.

Located at the southernmost point of the Balearic Islands, the Barbària lighthouse is one of the most emblematic points on the island of Formentera surrounded by an arid-looking landscape with little vegetation, but with incredible views of the sea. It is an ideal place to enjoy the impressive sunsets over the Mediterranean. The road that leads to the lighthouse, from the town of Sant Francesc de Formentera, is paved, although it is a narrow passage. Near the lighthouse, the old defense tower Des Garroveret also stands out.
