Some very beautiful views of Bierge and Tozal de Guara

Caution: The approach to the Rio is very tricky. Experienced hiker only. The complete circuit is approximately 16 km.

A very nice route with spectacular surroundings, which can be accompanied by a canyon ride through the area with an expert like me. Be careful, the beginning is through cross-country and crop fields, which if they are sown it is better not to go through, and you can go along the road or start with another car there.

The infamous church of gravel as we called it. Nice to look at, and conveniently placed next to great gravel roads and even a single track!

The church of San Martín de Foces is a linear Gothic style temple from the 14th century. It was ordered to be built by Ximeno de Foces in 1249 as a family pantheon, and later donated to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. It is the only vestige of the ancient town of Foces, and was declared a National Monument in 1916. It is highly appreciated for the sarcophagi and the fresco paintings located in the side arms of the temple.

A route without too much difficulty, except for the last descent located before the small bridge.

Near the parish church, the remains of the wall and the old castle of the town stand out, in a clearly strategic position.

Despite the numerous reforms that were carried out later, the temple still retains its medieval structure. The refectory, the chapter house, the cloister and the portal of its church will especially catch your attention.
