Culminating at 1,800 meters above sea level, this summit offers a sumptuous view of the Cilaos cirque. It also dominates the forest of the same name populated with remarkable trees.

The Anchaing piton is located in the heart of the Salazie cirque at 1,356 meters above sea level. According to legend, Anchaing and his companion found refuge on this large plateau which offers a panoramic view of the circus.

Absolutely unique experience! I have never seen a more beautiful starry sky. In the morning we could see the whole island from above, an incredible feeling!

For the sunrise / for the view of the Cirque de Cilaos.

La Roche Écrite culminates at 2,276 meters above sea level. This summit marks the meeting point between the circuses of Mafate and Salazie which meet at its feet. You have to get there early enough to be able to observe the incredible panorama it offers. Indeed, the clouds quickly gain this altitude.

You have to arrive early to have the chance to see the panorama, we made the round trip in one day, but we especially took advantage of the pouring rains of the afternoon and the mist! Arrived at the top, we did not have the expected panorama!!

The summit of Entre Deux, which culminates at 2,352 meters above sea level, is located on the rampart of the Kerveguen hillside which belongs to the Piton des Neiges massif. A few ladders facilitate its ascent from the Jacky Inard trail.

Piton des Neiges is a dormant volcano located in the center of Reunion Island. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010, it culminates at 3,070 meters above sea level. This volcano, inactive for about 12,000 years, is responsible for the creation of two thirds of the island. Its name is misleading since snowfalls are rare there, and eternal snow non-existent. However, it is cold there and, therefore, hikers who venture there must be well equipped.
