This pretty little lake in the Pyrenean foothills bears the name of the eponymous town which adjoins it. It is located on the heights of the Garonne, not far from its confluence with the Pique.

Very beautiful and picturesque hiking, the lake is definitely worth a visit. The entire route is about 10 kilometers and the elevation gain is only 400 meters. We climb up a winding rocky path surrounded by forest, and then a beautiful view of the valley and lake opens up. We also tried to go around the lake in a circle on the right side, we managed to reach the waterfall without problems, and then we would have had to ford the river, which we did not do.
