The Chapel of Mounens (Saint-Basile) In reality, this is not the original Saint-Basile Chapel, but the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul Church of Mounens, in which a Gothic chapel adjoining the sacristy was built in the 13th–14th centuries. This chapel was erected above a burial vault intended for the lords of Maisonseule.

Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc is one of the highest peaks of the Monts d'Ardèche in the south-eastern Massif Central. The mountain itself is a striking, extinct volcanic cone with a good view over the Massif Central. The ascent and descent require some fitness and good footwear. There are a few short climbing rocks that cannot be avoided. But the view is worth it.

Small village of Ardèche, Colombier-le-Vieux takes place on the edge of the Massif Central. To see: the castle of Belle Comble, built from the 13th century and listed as a Historic Monument; the fortified house of Ruissas, also listed as a Historic Monument. Built in the 16th century, at the beginning of the Wars of Religion, it underwent major transformations a century later. This building, representative of the seigniorial and rural habitat in Vivarais, is only visible from the outside. Do not miss to admire the 19th century Saint-Martin church, or the King's bridge (listed as a Historic Monument) which crosses the Doux.
