This listed cemetery is distinguished by its heritage character and its Saint-Saturnin church, which dates from the 12th century. It is embellished by the mountainous landscape in the background.

Coming from Spain, this route is much nicer (and vice versa) than the actual road connection. There are hardly any cars on the road here and you can devote yourself to the ascent/descent in peace and quiet. You will also be rewarded with a beautiful view.

It is known for its 13th-century medieval castle and the Church of Saint-Etienne. Surrounded by agricultural landscapes and vineyards, it offers a peaceful setting for excursions and rural tourism. It keeps Catalan traditions alive, making it an ideal place to enjoy the history, culture and nature of Roussillon.

It was built by the Lords of Saint Cristau, who later took the name of Montesquieu. The keep forms an imposing building with a width of 16 metres and a length of 22 metres. The castle was protected by a wall 12 m high. From the top you have a great view of the plains of the region.
