You will have to pay attention to the cairn which indicates when you must leave it to reach the ridge and switch to the other side. Be careful, the path to go back down includes a technical passage that can be avoided by passing the rocky bar while staying on the ridge.

This hike offers superb panoramas and the arrival at Pic Saint-Michel, if you go clockwise, reveals a breathtaking view of the valley.
