These are two water reservoirs which allow fishing as well as a walking and nature discovery trail. There is also an observatory and identification panels for the species that can be observed there.

On the archaeological site there are houses which have been dug into soft rock, partly linked to stone extraction activities. Today there are only around ten troglodyte houses left in approximately good condition in the town nicknamed “the village of a hundred troglodyte houses”. There are also cathedral cellars, the miraculous spring and the remains of a 15th century house.

Alixan is a circular village whose houses are grouped in three rings around the church of St. Didier, which is centrally located on a rock. The type is often found in the southwestern Languedoc. Worth mentioning is the Christmas market, which takes place on one of the weekends in mid-December and offers a lot of regional handicrafts and specialties.
