Virtually no incline, good asphalt – everything invites you to pedal briskly through beautiful nature.

The cycle path along the canal is superbly maintained and runs through beautiful countryside. However, the starting and finishing points near Bourgogne and Bretagne raise geographical questions as to whether one is still truly in Alsace...

Although the cycle path doesn't lead directly through nature, but more or less along the main road, it is nevertheless very well developed!

Here too, the cycle path leads right through beautiful nature, is actually superbly developed, currently (early 2026) still through a construction site at the very beginning, a bit bumpy but still great, without motor traffic!

As is often the case in France, the well-developed cycle path here leads right through beautiful countryside – completely separated from motorized traffic. That's how it should be done!

The relatively quiet main road between Courchavon and Courtemaiche runs alongside the small stream. Nothing special, but still beautiful.

Before the construction of the motorway, this was an important pass between St-Ursanne and Courgenay; now it's quieter and therefore more attractive to road cyclists. The pass itself is unspectacular—apart from the sign with the altitude and an information board about visiting the 2012 Tour de France, there's little to justify a longer stay.

A hidden gem in the Jura. A village not well-known in throughout Switzerland but well worth the visit, Home to Louis Chevrolet, inventor and mechanic, the one who founded the US motorcar company Chevrolet. The emblem on the Chevrolet car was actually the Swiss flag incorporated into the brand. There is also a watch company in Porrentruy from Chevrolet bering his name and still producing quality watches. The city has so many out door cafés with terraces.
