19세기에 신고전주의 양식으로 지어졌습니다. 특히 입구 앞의 기둥 복도는 시선을 사로잡습니다. 내부를 들여다볼 가치가 있습니다. 건물은 거의 정사각형이며 유리 돔으로 덮인 아트리움을 둘러싸고 있습니다.

Aux의 더 작은 광장 중 하나이며 매우 세련된 곳입니다. 바로크 시대에 Jean-Baptiste Albertas는 광장 주변의 여러 부지를 구입하고 당시 스타 건축가인 Vallon에게 조화로운 앙상블을 한 번에 만들도록 의뢰했습니다. 이 광장은 건축적 통일성과 건물에 있는 많은 정교한 디테일, 그리고 물론 예술적인 분수로 인해 깊은 인상을 줍니다.

Cross this bridge and you leave the city traffic of Aix and head straight for a quiet little stretch that climbs pleasantly up the mountain through a pine forest.

The dam of Lake Zola can be reached via beautiful trails. It was built between 1847 and 1854 and is one of the first arch dams in the world; according to Wikipedia, it may even be the very first. The lake served to supply Aix-en-Provence with drinking water, which was piped there via an aqueduct. A beautiful destination directly from Aix, or from Le Tholonet.

The former windmill in Le Tholonet was once rented by the painter Cézanne as a studio and storage space. The building is located directly on the "Route Cézanne," making it a perfect place to combine culture with road cycling.

This site, located between the Cours Mirabeau and the Church of the Holy Spirit, holds stories from centuries past, dating back to its founding in the 15th century. Today, what remains of this vast complex is mainly its iconic bell tower and chapel, as well as walls integrated into more modern buildings. An interesting detail is that Martin Luther is said to have stayed here around 1510-1511. In the 16th century, the tower was enriched with a bell tower, a wrought iron structure designed to withstand the strong mistral winds, and was equipped with bells. With the French Revolution, the convent was converted into homes, a fate common to many religious buildings of the time. Today, the tower and chapel are owned by the municipality, while the surrounding buildings are privately owned. This place preserves not only architectural history, but also pieces of daily life in Aix-en-Provence from the past.
