Small quiet and shaded road in the cool, new bitumen (2024) up to the castle of Gaude. Practical to reach the plane trees or Venelles, very pretty on the logissons side and after.

After crossing the river, turn left towards Saint Paul. You can continue uphill until you reach Saint Paul. A narrow, separate strip next to the lane makes for a relaxed climb. There wasn't much traffic anyway.
