The church, located in the middle of a cemetery, was built in the 11th century in the Pisan-Romanesque style. It is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Corsica. It was recently extensively renovated with funds from the EU and the Corsican regional association.

Right next to the parking lot, but still with a lovely terrace, Clos Antonini serves homemade lemon juice, optionally mixed with lemon and grape juice (recommended!) – the perfect refreshment after a hike!

I tolerated the water without any problems.

Shortly before the Bocca a á Fugata pass (732m), the archaic stone house that serves as a shelter for goats or sheep invites you to linger and the stone hill 50m behind it offers fantastic views of the Feliceto valley with the coast behind it.

One of the most beautiful villages in Balagne, alleys, covered passages and houses blend into the rock. The view of the plain and the sea is splendid.

Sant'Antonino is classified as one of the Plus beaux villages de France (most beautiful villages in France). Neighbouring communities of Sant'Antonino are Pigna to the north, Santa-Reparata-di-Balagna to the east, Cateri to the south and Aregno to the west. Sant'Antonino is located on a mountain ridge at an altitude of 479 m. Due to the excellent panoramic view, it is also called the "Eagle's Nest of the Balagne". The town can only be visited on foot. The townscape is characterised by a multitude of narrow streets with high granite houses and vaults. As a former fortified stronghold of the Counts of Savelli, Sant'Antonino also served as a refuge from pirates for the inhabitants of the Balagne.

It's a place with homemade pastries. Enough to fill your backpack with cookies to make Tiramisu :)
