A beautiful, challenging hike along the Luberon ridges. Views of the Alps, Mont Ventoux and Mourre Nègre.

Located at the foot of the Mourre Nègre, the Etang de la Bonde is a must-see place in the southern Luberon, combining history, nature and outdoor activities. In water all year round, it offers the possibility of swimming in all seasons. You will also find a campsite, picnic areas and catering services.

At this altitude, on this path which follows a ridge, you not only have a splendid view but you also change the ecosystem. No more olive trees! You will discover the beautiful cedar forests. It is important to know that the greatest number of its trees are found on the ridge path of the Petit Luberon.

This little diversion allows you to have a view of the Bonde pond. It has a beautiful beach. Take the opportunity to take a dip.

La Motte d'Aigues stands on the site of a former Gallic oppidum. You will find a bakery, a small supermarket, as well as a bus stop in the village.

In this street of the Montée de la Gaye in the center of the village is the Auberge l'Ormeau. Maybe this is the perfect place to have a meal? Or would you rather go to Place du 8 mai 1945 for a coffee on the terrace? Whatever your choice, you will appreciate the tranquility of the place.
