Numerous restaurants and night bars have settled in the southeast of the lake. On the shore there is a bathing center that offers a swimming pool and a beach. The main entrance from 1936 is designed in Art Deco style. Beyond that, further north, is the Aquarium, which features native fish, and a long esplanade that's great for walking and regularly hosts special events. The site also offers a panoramic view of the lake and the Dent du Chat rock.

Magnificent walk to do on foot (900m) leaving the bikes up or down and walking back and forth to take advantage of the corbelled passages above the Sierroz.

The vagabond garden is an initiative of the city of Aix-les-Bains. The idea is to have a space where human intervention is reduced to the strict minimum. The garden extends over five hectares and is made up of a meadow, a reedbed, and no less than 159 different plant species. It is a beautiful place, where it is good to stop for a short break!

It is a very pleasant little fishing and marina. The ideal place for a stroll at the end of the day.

The large port of Aix-les-Bains has more than 1,500 boat moorings and is also the starting point for tourist boat excursions on Lake Bourget. This can also be combined with a nice hike, for example by boat to Hautecombe Abbey and back on foot around the lake.
