If one becomes tired at anytime, there is always a railway line next to the path to take you home easily.

The Swiss National Route 84 winds its way through this charming village with its beautiful half-timbered dwellings. Take time to enjoy the beauty of this village.

From this point until the village of Bollodingen, the road turns into a gravel road. I would advise road cyclists to avoid this stretch of gravel and take the detour to the village of Hermiswil and ride on the busy road between Hermiswil and Bollodingen. The road on itself is of a smooth asphalted surface with no holes but during the morning and evening rush hour, this road has a lot of heavy traffic.

The Swiss National Route 84 stretches all the way from Zürich to Thun in Berner Oberland. Traverses several Swiss Cantons (ZH, AG, SO, BE) and on clear days, offering a good panoramic view of the alps.
