On the border between Isère and Savoie, Pont-de-Beauvoisin is located on the banks of the river Le Guiers. There are two Pont-de-Beauvoisin, one in Isère and the other in Savoie. It's quite a unique city and you can jump between regions on the bridge.

A nice road to pass. By this pass on the other hand, in winter it does not seem to be cleared of snow. With a mountain bike it's hot, on the road it's dead.

By the way, the name of the village is Saint-Alban-de-Montbel. The church is right across the town hall.

Great viewpoint on the west shore of the lake. Follow the small road that leads downhill from the church. This is a shortcut to the Plage du Sougey.
