The Aravis Chapel is a place of Catholic worship dedicated to Saint Anne. It is located in Haute-Savoie, on the Col des Aravis, in the municipality of La Clusaz on the border of Savoy and at an altitude of 1,486m. It is called Santa Ana Chapel because on the façade it has the inscription “Saint Anne protects travelers.”

This pass, perched at an altitude of 1,487 meters (4,878 feet), connects the departments of Haute-Savoie and Savoie as well as the two ski resorts of La Clusaz and La Giettaz. Very popular with cyclists, be careful on the descent towards Giettaz: there is a tunnel with a bend. Turn on your lights!

A stunning climb on the road bike from Flumet, the road winds it way through gorges and rock faces with amazing scenery. Just be prepared for alot of people at the summit in the summer months with 4 restaurants and souvenir shops its quite popular.
