Small, little-used pass above Marlens. On the way down to Marlens it is really fun, fast and playful. The ascent to the North is quite easy and gentle.

This mid-mountain pass is located at an altitude of 947 meters in the Aravis massif. Its ascent from Marlens involves fairly steep gradients, while its approach from Serraval is more gentle.

8월 21, 2023, Col de l'Arpettaz climb
It's a whopper of a climb, over 1,100 metres (3,610 ft) in height gain, but it's a beautiful and almost traffic-free back road to the col and refuge de l'Arpettaz. You'll climb up through dense forests, along tight switchbacks, popping out above the tree line into mountain pastures. A stunning view of the mountain range opens up as you come around the final bend.
