Very nice site, and pretty waterfall. However, the very present tourist aspect spoils the show a bit, a security guard is even present to monitor the waterfall...I had never seen that before. Other equally beautiful and wilder waterfalls are to be discovered in Valromey

A perfect representation of the ViaRhôna cycle path. Between mountains, hills and the Rhône. The bike path is well maintained and well thought out with plenty of places to stop and enjoy the views.

It is a magnificent waterfall over 60 meters high. It is in the hamlet of Glandieu and is a popular local tourist attraction.

This living wall of lush vegetation makes this waterfall a spectacle. Swimming in the waterfall basin is prohibited. The river and the surroundings of the waterfall can be flooded during heavy rains.

A nice road to pass. By this pass on the other hand, in winter it does not seem to be cleared of snow. With a mountain bike it's hot, on the road it's dead.
