The Conow Church was built in 1826 by the later senior building officer and Grand Ducal Court Architect Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel (1796-1869), a student of Karl Friedrich Schinkel and at the same time the most important architect in the former Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. This is the first church built by him. In the open porch of the church, a cast steel bell hangs freely above the entrance door. The only bell ornament is a Prussian eagle.

Very nice covered bridge for pedestrians and cyclists, which reminds me a little of the Ahrensberg house bridge.

The new pioneer bridge in Templin is only passable for cyclists and pedestrians. It leads from Templin to “Little Moscow”.

Attention: avoid Alt-Placht with the racing bike or turn off before Alt-Placht in the direction of Gandenitz (coming from Lychen). All other paths to and from Alt-Placht are not suitable for racing bikes, especially not in summer when the sandy path has dried out.

Fantastic bike line until the main cross with Perfect asphalt. Just before the bridge there is like 200 m unpaved but it’s very compact surface and can be done with road bike without any single problem. After turning to the right the bike line is getting a bit worst and very dirty.

Good to drive, smooth asphalt. Only in the area of the campsite some sand and gravel on the way. But there are also a lot of children running around, so it's better to slow down there anyway. Otherwise great, low-traffic route!
