There is a new section of the Via Rhona between Motz and Serriere en Chautagne. It is well signposted towards Motz and then winds through fields and parallel to the main road without much guidance.

Magnificent view of the lake, the Albanian and Aix les Bains, be careful, however, of the overcrowding in July/August! For MOUNTAIN BIKERS, two passages require getting off the bike, at least for those whose technical level is not sufficient enough.

The new Meyrieux cross offers a great view, but the cross itself is quite ugly if compared to the old wooden cross located a little lower.

In a limestone slope east of Grésine Bay is the cave "Grotte des fées", accessible by rough stairs carved into the rock. The cave widens into six rooms with a total length of 31 meters. Don't forget your flashlight!

Very nice climb with a magnificent view all along on the Lac du Bourget. Past the pass, take the road to the right to climb to the Belvedere (be careful, it climbs steeply). Superb 360° panorama at the top over Lake Bourget, the Grand Colombier and the Aravis range. Only downside: a little traffic on the way up, so be careful on the way down.
