This house features, on the old cellar door, the cooper's insignia: two barrel hoops (hooks used to attach the barrel rings) and a mallet, a type of wooden hammer. This craft was closely linked to viticulture, particularly prevalent in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. The house dates from 1735. The village center boasts a fine collection of winegrowers' houses (rue de l'église, rue des Suisses, rue du Bois).
