The Château de Villandry is a beautiful Renaissance castle that was inspired by the gardening art of the 16th century. There are ornamental gardens, fruit and vegetable gardens, a water garden and medicinal herb beds. The entire site is about 5 hectares in size. There is also a sun garden and a labyrinth.
