Located at an altitude of 1,820 meters, the refuge was destroyed by lightning and then rebuilt in 2000. It has 32 places as well as a large grassy plateau suitable for bivouacking. Fill up with water there because you will not find any source until the next refuge of Usciolu.

Beautiful campsite with all amenities. The place is ideal for spending the night outside the conditions of the GR 20 or for doing a stage and a half from Vizzavone. The Prati refuge is located a little above, after a short walk. The campsite restaurant is very good and the service is incredibly efficient. Be careful, however, in season, there must be a lot of people.

Very beautiful refuge, sheltered from the wind and the boldness of the ridges that surround it. We had a nice meal break there, but if we had arrived later we would have spent the night there with pleasure. Be careful, because there is almost no shade on the refuge site!
