It's a shame that the castle and its museum are only open on Sundays and public holidays from 2 PM to 6 PM. The view from the foot of the castle is lovely nonetheless.

There is also a small shelter for resting.

Vereinsheim of the Vosges Club

This charming church in the heart of the Alsatian wine village of Niedermorschwihr is a historical gem. The church is best known for its unique twisted bell tower and the Baroque Silbermann organ from 1726, originally from Colmar. Both the tower and the organ have been protected as historical monuments since 1993.

Trois-Épis is a small, historic place of pilgrimage in the Vosges, situated on a mountainside above Alsace. The village was founded in the 15th century after an apparition of Mary and has developed into a spiritual place with a serene atmosphere. Above the village stands the monumental statue of Christ by Le Galtz, erected in 1930 to commemorate the reunification of Alsace with France. From here you have an impressive view of the Alsace plain, the Black Forest and, in clear weather, even the Alps.

Be sure to stop by the Maison Ferber bakery. Delicious jams from a small copper kettle, true fruit bombs, superb pastries, and delicious daily specials (except for house sale).
